they are pretty solid chairs! they look amazing in person and are comfortable to sit in. the colour of the smoked oak finish is pretty similar to Article's smoked oak finish, only slightly on the cool side. the only negative is the assembly, one of the instruction steps is wrong. it was a little difficult to put together but once it was done, I haven't had any issues!
